Q1 2021 Performance of Top Dragon Games on iOS in Latin America

Latin America's iOS platform saw varied performances from top dragon-themed gaming apps in the first quarter of 2021. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a snapshot of the trends in downloads and weekly active users for these popular games.

Dragon City - Breed & Battle!, a creation of Spanish publisher Socialpoint, maintained steady revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $16K in late February. Downloads showed a slight decline from roughly 13K to 11K, while weekly active users increased from 166K to 184K.

Gameloft's Dragon Mania Legends from France exhibited modest revenue fluctuations, with a notable spike to $4.8K in early March. Downloads varied, hitting a peak of over 3K in mid-January and again in early March, and the weekly active users showed a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 11K.

The game Sky Dragon Dash had no revenue to report for the majority of the quarter, but downloads ranged between 769 and 1.3K. Weekly active users for the game showed a slight decrease from 2.4K to 1.5K by the end of March.

Merge Dragons!, by Israeli publisher Gram Games, saw revenues that fluctuated, with a significant jump to $15K in late February. The downloads saw a gradual increase from 468 to 1.2K, and weekly active users rose from just under 10K to nearly 9K in the same period.

Lastly, Bekko.com's Dragon Tamer: Genesis from China showed a revenue increase with a peak at $336 in late February. The game's downloads saw an initial surge to 1.4K in the second week of January but then gradually decreased to 366 by the end of March. Weekly active users showed growth, reaching a high of 2.4K in the last week of March.
